We love a good handbag. But what’s even better than just a good handbag? One that is on trend, of course! If you’re interested in keeping up with all the latest trends, read on to discover the biggest handbag trends forecasted for 2020.
1) Micro Bags
A small handbag is one thing, but for 2020, we take it a step further with the micro bag. And yes, when we say micro, we really mean micro. Think of basically only being able to carry around your cards, and that’s about it. Trust us, while this might seem difficult now, once you experience the freeing nature of simply carrying a micro bag, you’ll never want to go back.
2) Woven Bags
Woven bags have been quite popular for multiple seasons, and they don’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon. For spring, we suggest something that has a very “picnic basket’ feel, but for cooler months, opt for a woven leather.
3) Canvas + Leather
Classic, easy to pair with a variety of outfits, and right on-trend for 2020, you’ll get plenty of use out of your new leather and canvas bag. Go for something minimalist by seeking out the standard black and brown hues, or spice things up with a color. Either way, in 2020, you can’t go wrong with the mixture of leather and canvas.
4) Oversized Tote Bags
If you’re not so certain about the micro bag trend, you’ll be happy to know that just as trendy as the micro bag trend is the oversized tote bag trend. Ridiculously easy-to-wear and super convenient for carrying around all your essentials, we’ve got a feeling the oversized tote bag trend is one that many of you will be adopting this year.
5) Crocodile Texture
With animal print being such a major trend in past seasons, it probably doesn’t come as too much of a surprise that crocodile texture is making a major splash in handbags. Get your hands on any purse that is done in a crocodile texture, and you’ll be right on trend for 2020.
