Snow queen vibes…

One of the most magical events of the winter season is the first time those fluffy flakes of snow twirl dazzlingly from the sky and frost the world with glittering white. The world turns crisp and clean, and life seems to take on a fairytale-like quality. The fashion world takes cues from this marvel by embracing a color that doesn’t often get much attention – white. Here are a few ways to incorporate the white winter wonderland trend into your wardrobe.

A Snowdrift-Inspired Trench Coat

Traditional coat colors are black, navy, green, and tan. How overdone! Step out like a snow queen in a dazzling, draping trench coat that begs to be out on a cold winter’s night. If it has fluffs of faux fur anywhere on it, even better!

Champagne Glitter Sprinkled Over a Frosted Party Dress

Plain white dresses are for vacation. Glitter infused white dresses are for holiday parties! With a few gold sparkles and a dash of silver shimmers, and you’ll look like a tall glass of bubbly. Talk about New Year’s Eve-Worthy.

A Cozy Cable Knit Made for the Lodge

We couldn’t get far in any fall or winter wardrobe list without talking about cable knit sweaters! They’re practically a requirement for the season. Nothing says, “I’m ready for hot cocoa and a warm fire” like cable knit. If you’re tired of the ordinary crew neck look, try mixing it up with a cowl or turtle neck.

Snowball-Topped Pom Beanie

Another favorite of winter – beanies with poms! The fact that the fluffy toppers look like perfect snowballs is just a bonus. Why not try a wintry trench coat over a pair of white pants, and a snowy pom beanie on top? It’s the perfect outfit!

Ignore all the rules you’ve heard about wearing white at certain times of the year. They’re more like guidelines anyway; the only rule you need to know is that you must dress to impress…yourself!
